Set campaign schedules

Set campaign schedules on the Canvas (new experience) to control when your campaign starts, ends, and how it spends throughout each flight. Use flight ranges, pacing, and unspent delivery settings to manage timing, maximize delivery, and keep spend aligned with your campaign strategy.

Campaign budgets and dayparting are described in separate articles.

Steps to open a campaign

Steps to manage flight ranges

  1. Go to Flights & Budgets heading.

  3. Click the Set Flight Range button.
  4. Use the date picker to set the start and end dates.
  5. Enter a maximum budget for the range.

Notes

The default setting for Pacing is Even, which means the algorithm spends the budget evenly across the duration. Optionally, click the field and select Catch up to force the platform to spend more aggressively and exhaust the budget of an under-spending campaign.

The default Unspent Delivery setting is zero. Enter a value to force the platform to spend unused budget within a certain period before the end of the flight.

To add schedules to the campaign, click the Add Flight Range button.

Steps to edit a range

To update a flight range, go to the row and click the three-dot icon. A side panel displays. Make changes and click the Save button.

FAQs

How do marketers edit an existing flight range on the Canvas (new experience)?

Marketers edit a flight range by selecting the three dot icon in the relevant row under Flights & Budgets. A side panel opens where updates to dates, pacing, maximum budget, or Unspent delivery can occur. Changes take effect only after marketers click the Save button.

Is there a default pacing setting when marketers create a new flight range?

Yes, the default pacing setting is Even. The system distributes budget evenly across the full duration unless marketers select Catch up. This default behavior controls spend flow unless manually changed.

What happens if marketers leave the Unspent delivery field at zero?

The platform does not force accelerated spending before the flight ends when the value remains zero. Budget that remains unspent does not trigger forced delivery within a specific final period. This setting affects end of flight spend behavior.

Can marketers control campaign budgets and dayparting from the flight range settings?

No, campaign budgets and dayparting are managed in separate configurations. Flight range settings control timing, pacing, and maximum budget within defined dates. Budget totals and dayparting logic require configuration outside the flight range workflow.
