The selected objective controls which metrics appear under Campaign goals. Awareness, Engagement, and Conversion each surface different Recommended and Other metrics. The objective therefore narrows metric selection and aligns optimization with the intended performance outcome.
Marketers open a campaign on the Canvas, confirm the New experience toggle is active if visible, and click the campaign block. The Budget & goals tab appears at the top of the Canvas within the campaign view. This tab contains the Objectives & Goals section and Campaign goals settings.
