Dayparting controls when ads serve by day and time on the Canvas. Marketers switch from the default 24-7 delivery to a custom schedule and select time blocks on a grid. The system applies these limits to eligible tactics to focus delivery during high activity periods.
Dayparting settings live in the Budget & goals tab of a Canvas campaign. Marketers open the campaign, select the campaign block, and scroll to the Daypart targeting section. This location centralizes delivery controls alongside pacing and budget configuration.
A campaign runs 24-7 when the default setting remains active or when changes are not saved. Marketers must select the Run ads with daypart targeting option, define active time blocks, and save. Programmatic guaranteed deals also ignore Canvas schedules.
Dayparting does not apply to programmatic guaranteed deals. These deals use schedules that exist at the deal level, not the Canvas. Marketers must adjust timing with the publisher or deal owner rather than through campaign settings.
Canvas dayparting uses Eastern Time for all schedules. Marketers should convert local business hours into Eastern Time before selecting time blocks. This approach ensures consistent delivery across accounts and regions.
