Tactic-level targeting overrides journey-level targeting for a specific tactic. By default, illumin applies journey targeting to every tactic. Marketers can edit individual targeting variables in the Targeting tab to customize audience reach and delivery for that tactic only.

Marketers reset tactic-level targeting by clicking Reset all custom targeting in the Custom targeting field. illumin removes all overrides and restores the original journey-level targeting rules across the tactic.
